Support Our Troops Campaign
& Operation Homefront Sponsored by MIX 94.1
With the onset of the war in Iraq in March 2003, MCcc
Sportswear felt a need to show pride for our nation and give support
to the troops fighting overseas. The company created the
Support Our Troops (SOT) tee-shirt, which featured a patriotic
embroidered design. The tee was offered to employees for
purchase at only $4.00. The shirt was a hit as employees
bought the SOT shirts for friends, family, and themselves.
Within a week's time, MCcc Employees had bought $500 worth of the
tees!
At the same time,
radio station MIX 94.1 was conducting its Operation Homefront
campaign to collect goods needed by the troops and their families.
The owners of MCcc Sportswear matched the dollar amount
the employees raised from the SOT tee sales to donate an amount of
$1,000 to the MIX 94.1 Operation Homefront campaign.

13th Annual Tony Lizza Memorial Golf Outing
In June 2003 MCcc
Sportswear served as a Contributing Sponsor to the 13th
Annual Tony Lizza Memorial Golf Outing. The annual golf
event raises money for the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which funds
research to find cures for blood related cancers and provides
patient services.
This year's outing was
held at the Beavercreek Golf Club in Ohio on June 4, 2003. In
addition to its sponsorship, MCcc also provided
embroidered golf shirts for all who participated in the event.
Four MCcc employees were among the 240 golfers that
played in the outing.

Save
the Children
MCcc Sportswear has been a licensing partner with
Save the
Children since 2001. As a licensing partner of Save the
Children, MCcc is able to produce garments that feature artwork drawn
by the children that the organization benefits and the Save the
Children name. At this time MCcc's Save the Children line has
not yet been introduced to the public. However, the
licensing fee that MCcc pays each year directly supports the Save the
Children organization.
Save the Children is a child
assistance organization dedicated to helping children in need, as
well as their communities, to improve their health, education, and
economic opportunities. Their various campaigns include
helping rural poor children, providing emergency relief to children,
protecting children and their families in war-torn regions,
providing improved educational opportunities, and offering child sponsorship
programs. Save the Children provides a necessary and
invaluable service to children and their families in towns across
the U.S. and in over 43 countries around the world.

Women Helping Women, Inc.
The Magic of Shangri-La
Women Helping Women,
Inc. is an organization dedicated to providing support to women who
have been victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and stalking; and
raising awareness about these issues in the Southwestern Ohio area.
In support of these causes, MCcc Sportswear President, Marta Callahan, attended Women
Helping Women's 2003 Spring Fundraiser Banquet, The Magic of Shangri-La.
The banquet featured a silent auction, where Ms. Callahan bid on sets of tickets
to six major sporting events and won.
These tickets then became the prizes for
MCcc Sportswear's monthly awards drawing. MCcc holds a
monthly awards program to recognize its outstanding employees. The
award winners from each month were entered into the drawings to win the
tickets. While MCcc employees got to enjoy professional football,
baseball, hockey, and golf events, Women Helping Women benefited from the
donations Ms. Callahan made to win the tickets.
